Validator operators are selected based on their alignment with the Hyperliquid & stHYPE ecosystem, performance metrics, and security practices. Stake distribution is determined as function of performance score and stake contribution to stHYPE.

There is no bias in validator selection - any operator with sufficient security practices and performance should be able to join the set, subject to stHYPE voters.
